Problem
Yancy’s Daydream had no visual identity. They needed album packaging that reflected their alternative sound and emotional tone while appealing to new listeners and a growing underground audience.

First Moodboard

Final Moodboard
Process
Conducted interviews and wrote a client brief
Created mood boards exploring type, color, and illustration
Refined direction based on feedback and shifted design to a bolder, more alternative tone
Designed a custom logotype
Developed mirrored photography and layout to reflect themes of disorientation and reflection

Solution
Final design uses symmetry, grain, and color contrast to define mood
Logo anchors the visual system and creates a recognizable presence
Layout guides the viewer through content without distraction
Result is a cohesive, print ready package
